All sizes on the website are rounded. A gap that is e.g. 40 x 80 cm is in exact dimensions 397 x 797 mm according to IKEAS instructions. The reason why you make the gaps a little smaller is because they shouldn't go into each other when you open and close the gap. Ours Hatches are as easy to install as IKEA's own hatches! You. You.
